Jeans is one of the most fashionable items to wear of all time found in every wardrobe. We can choose from dozens of different styles, and jeans can match every occasion.

Jeggings are latest in the jeans fashion. Born in last spring the clothing piece comes from merging jeans and leggings and are combined with  tanks and sweater dresses thins fall as well. Extremely tight jeans never go out of fashion so I think pair of very good jeggings is a good investment in your wardrobe.

High waisted jeans are one of the most popular styles around this season. High waist isn’t a novelty on a fashion scene, it is a comeback of high waisted jeans as they are featured in all the fashion shows for fall and winter 2010. Style of them is simple and high waist gives a slim look to a silhouette.

Patched denim is brought to runways by Chanel, Chloe and Lagerfeld for the Spring 2010 and now is widely sold in retail stores. There are plenty ideas to create own stylish outlook combining different colors and fabrics which gives a funky look.

researching what is happening for Fall 2010 I found few really nice ladies knitwear designs in designer’s collections.

Gray and cream are number ones this year. So the other pastel colors and also black.

All the pieces are stylish and functional in all variety knitewear has to offer – sweater dresses, cardigans, scarves, ponchos, tank tops, tshirts and sweaters. Especially scarves and wraps are so rich in texture, long, oversized and heavily ruffled to add dramatic look to the outfit.

The theme for this Fall is blended yarns of more than one fiber in fascinating executions – wool, silk, cashmere, bison. It is a full range of textures and weights in knits to have all possible patterns – chunky, hairlike or deconstructed.  Everything is comfy and warm looking.

The show this year  was moved back to New York City and started with Black Eyed Peas song  Boom Boom Pow. 

The honour to present $3 million worth diamond bra was given to Marisa Miller, but my personal admiration goes to Heid Klum who went down the runway just five weeks after she gave birth to her fourth child.

Marc Jacobs sent couple of models with bunny-ear headbands down the runway in his Fall 2009 show. Now it seems becoming real fashion trend. To me yet is looks too carnival while Russian Marie Claire published some in ready-to-wear photoshoot and some celebrities also are seen wearing rabbit ear head accessory.

As the winter is on its way I wanted to post my favorite coat trends for winter 2009.

They are not surprising and continuing rebirth of 80’s style in spring/summer padded shoulders trend remains also in fall and winter. Also army theme stays, however disco style found its place also in military look making shoulders bolder and more exaggerated.

Classic stays – You can’t go wrong with black, white and gray. Classic trench coats with belts as accent.

However using so classic black and white, designers go mad about silhouettes – huge coats, capes and gowns, countless ruffles. Regular forms are outspoken with oversize sleeves and impressive cuffs and collars.

Knitwear is celebrating its victory. Knitted and bold details are not only warm, but also trendy this year.

Season’s feature is fur and leather – simple cuts and also daring. Fur is widely used for detailing (cuffs, collars and fur caps).

Photoshoot of new Mango collection is much different from that published earlier – colors and leopard prints are replaced by cloudy blue pictures and urban graffiti background. The outfit of Scarlett is very much 80’s as presented by Mango fall/winter collection – minis, T-shirt dresses and eighties-inspired accessories.

Scarlett was also wearing Mango clothes when presented their new range.

 She is also Moet & Chandon face. Her style was more feminine and refined attending Moet & Chandon “Tribute to Cinema” in Tokyo.
