Popstar Katy Perry has been revealed to be the new face of ghd, the professional hair styling
brand, as part of a new multi-year sponsorship deal.
The Firework singer, who is about to kick off her 2011 tour, was announced as the official face of the
professional hair styling brand has shot a brand new multimedia campaign under the creative eyes
of legendary photographer David LaChapelle.
The new campaign, featuring a variety of new hairstyles for the stylish pop star, will be unveiled over
the coming months in a celebration of their new partnership.
ghd said that Katy was the perfect choice of
celebrity to front their brand, with Paul Stoneham, Chief Executive Office at ghd, saying ”Katy is the
epitome of modern fashion and styling.”

ghd will also be sponsoring Katy’s ‘California Dreams’ Tour 2011 where they will be styling her hair
for her on stage performances with their famous ghd straighteners. Katy has expressed her excitement for working with the
professional hairstyling brand, adding: “I’m so excited to be working with ghd, especially using their
tools on my California Dreams Tour to get me stage ready. ghd products have a reputation of being

ghd also plan to get their professional hairstyle ambassadors involved in a wide range of concerts
